How Eomly handles SMS, email, and notification communications between businesses and their clients.
Last updated: May 30, 2026
These Communication Terms of Use ("Communication Terms") apply to all automated and transactional messages — including SMS text messages, emails, and in-app notifications — sent or received through the Eomly platform by businesses ("Sellers") and their clients ("Clients").
By enabling any messaging channel in your Eomly dashboard, or by providing your phone number or email address to a Seller through Eomly, you agree to these Communication Terms in addition to Eomly's main Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Eomly facilitates the following categories of communication:
**Transactional messages** – Booking confirmations, appointment reminders, cancellation notices, payment receipts, and other messages directly related to a service or transaction you have initiated.
**Operational messages** – Account alerts, security notifications, and platform updates that are necessary to maintain your account or the integrity of the platform.
**Marketing messages** – Promotional messages, offers, and newsletters sent by Sellers to Clients who have explicitly opted in. Eomly itself may also send platform-wide announcements to registered users.
When you provide a mobile phone number and consent to SMS communications, you may receive text messages sent by or on behalf of Eomly or a Seller using the Eomly platform.
Message frequency varies depending on the services you use and the notifications you or the Seller have enabled. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
To stop receiving SMS messages from a Seller's Eomly notifications, reply STOP to any message. To resume, reply START. For help, reply HELP or contact support@eomly.com.
Eomly is not responsible for delivery failures caused by carrier networks, incorrect numbers, or device limitations.
By registering an account with Eomly or booking a service through a Seller on Eomly, you consent to receiving transactional emails such as booking confirmations, reminders, and receipts. These messages are necessary to deliver the services you have requested and cannot be opted out of while your account or booking is active.
For marketing emails from Eomly, you may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email. For marketing emails from a specific Seller, use the unsubscribe link in their emails or contact the Seller directly.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not affect transactional communications.
Sellers using Eomly's communication tools are required to obtain valid consent from their Clients before sending marketing messages. By using the communication features in your Eomly Seller dashboard, you confirm that:
(a) you have obtained the necessary consent from each recipient before adding them to any messaging list; (b) your messages comply with applicable laws including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, and any other relevant regulations in your jurisdiction; (c) you will not use Eomly's messaging tools to send unsolicited, misleading, or harmful communications.
Eomly reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to communication features for any account found to be in violation of these obligations.
You may not use Eomly's communication infrastructure to send: spam or bulk unsolicited messages; messages containing malware, phishing links, or fraudulent content; messages that harass, threaten, or deceive recipients; content that violates any applicable law or Eomly's Terms of Service.
Eomly monitors platform usage to detect abuse. Accounts found in violation may have messaging capabilities restricted or removed without notice, and may be subject to account termination.
Phone numbers, email addresses, and communication preferences collected through Eomly's messaging tools are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This data is used solely to deliver the communications you or a Seller have authorised, and is never sold to third-party advertisers.
Sellers are responsible for handling their Clients' contact information in compliance with applicable data protection laws. Eomly provides tools to help manage consent and preferences, but the legal responsibility for compliant use lies with the Seller.
Some notification channels available through Eomly — such as WhatsApp Business — are powered by third-party platforms. When you enable these channels, your use is also governed by that third party's terms and privacy policies. Eomly does not control the policies of third-party platforms and is not liable for changes to their availability or terms.
Links to relevant third-party policies are provided within the notification settings for each channel.
Eomly may update these Communication Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, applicable law, or industry best practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify affected users by email or in-app notice.
Continued use of Eomly's communication features after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
If you have questions about these Communication Terms, or if you believe you have received a message in error, please contact us at support@eomly.com. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 2 business days.
