Your data is yours. Here's exactly how we handle it.
Last updated: March 19, 2026
When you sign up for Eomly, we collect basic account information — your name, email address, phone number, and business details. When you make or receive payments, we process the transaction data necessary to move money securely: amounts, currencies, payment methods, and recipient details.
If you use our marketplace, we also store product listings, order history, and buyer/seller communications. We only collect what we need to operate the platform — nothing more.
We use your information to provide and improve our services. This includes processing payments, verifying identities, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, and sending you important account notifications.
We may use aggregated, anonymised data (like transaction volume trends) to improve our products. We never sell your personal data to advertisers or third-party data brokers. Period.
All data transmitted between your device and Eomly is encrypted using TLS 1.2+. Sensitive information like payment credentials is encrypted at rest. We implement role-based access controls internally, and our infrastructure is hosted on industry-leading cloud providers with SOC 2 compliance.
We conduct regular security reviews and continuously monitor for suspicious activity across our platform.
We work with trusted third-party providers to deliver our services. These include payment processors (Flutterwave, Stripe), identity verification services, cloud hosting providers, and email delivery platforms.
These providers only receive the minimum data needed to perform their specific function, and are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection agreements with us.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are kept for the period required by applicable financial regulations (typically 5–7 years).
If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. You can request a data export at any time from your account settings.
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.
We may use basic analytics to understand how people use our platform — this helps us improve the experience. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can update your details directly from your Eomly dashboard, or contact us to request a full data export or account deletion.
If you're in the EU/EEA, you also have rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to object to certain processing. We respect and honour these rights regardless of your location.
Eomly is designed for individuals aged 18 and over who are conducting business or financial transactions. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we've collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you via email or an in-app banner.
We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of Eomly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have questions, concerns, or requests related to your privacy, reach out to us at privacy@eomly.com. We take every enquiry seriously and aim to respond within 48 hours.
